historically male-dominated
profession;

new music and new ways of thinking about
music, shared in an annual four-day festival.

Achievements and Performance

SORP reference
Summary of the main
achievements of the charity,
identifying the difference the
charity’s work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a whole
Para 1.20 eavesdropping’s activity included a four-day
festival and forum held at Cafe OTO, the
continuation of our podcast series, and the
launch of VOICEBOX, a year-long initiative
supporting emerging-generation singers
specialising in contemporary vocal
performance. This was our fifth season of
activity and felt like the most impactful in terms
of artist development and the promotion of new
music. The relocation to Cafe OTO for the
festival has had a demonstrably positive impact
on audience expansion, and we had significant
press coverage for the first time, including
international radio and printed-press features.
