A¢hi¥¥ements and Perforniance In 2020 Our activities during 2020 were severely re5titled as a resuli of the Cowd-19 pandemi& The Library was closed at the end ol March and we i￿k ihe deasicft to dose Ihe Hub and Business cent￿ at the same lime. In keeping with Govemment and Local Authorily requifements for operating during the pandemie, we rÈKopened the eommunilylevent room and Lymm Business Centr8 in July to a limited number of business and authorised ¢XJmmunity adivities. This involved undertaking a detailed risk assessment and inlrcmlucing a wde range of measures to meet Cowd-19 Guidelines for the safe oparatlon of communty fa￿￿tieS and officeslcontact centres. During the pandemic, we c￿tinUed to deliver some of communty actiw￿s remotely. For example, the affordable counselling 5ervKewas delivered on4ine and the Memory Café attendees were contacted by telephone. email and postand sessions We￿ organised in the Sancluary C8Té when restrictions were lift8d. Catering services for Ihe Hub were prov¥Jed by the SanclLFary Café Lymm which is a subsidiary of LSH and is Ic￿ted in the Unit8d Reformwl Church hall next dcor to the Library building. The counselling team ￿)n￿sts of a manager. a supervisor. 2 qualified counsellois 8nd iwo trainees. 11 has helped 74 clienis sinc8 it slarted and people gÈnuinety feel very gfatelul for the 3fftJrdable sessions. One couple said that the 5 sessions had saved their rnarTiage and their family. The cx)unsÈlling sessions have mainly continued on Zoom and all the o)unselling team have completed training to work therapetstically online.
