An inclusive group of men m￿ting in a *tting where life's eXperien￿S can be shared. We aim to provide the opportunity to try out & leam new skllls we'd all forgotten about. We're all benefitirKJ from developing our skills and knowledge of a wide range of the new technologies so important now to keep us connected and to manage our lives in so many different and challenging ways. With a focus on establishing and malntsining a wilde & extensive communication FM)licy, we aim to ensure we have a broad and consistent presence within the local communlty. Within our membership we have successfulty ensured that all members can k￿p in contact, through WhatsApp, emails, facebook and phone and now our YouTube videos. Main o 'ectives for the follovmn In shaping our objectives for the following year and planning our activities, the Trustees have considered the Charity Commlssion's guidance on public benefit and this is regularly re- visited. I Continue to expand our membership, with an emphasis upon supp)rting members most suscepb'ble to being socially isolatd. 2 Increase our range of activi￿eS to supFort a wider range of potential members and the looil community. 3 Continue to establish new revenue streamslftjnding, to build upon our existing stable financial base. Achievements and Perfornian Our objectives remain unchanged - to provide an environment at the shed whlch is welcoming and suppK)rtive for men to meet, chat & interact. Membership levels have contjnued to grow throughout 2024 coming from a broad range of avenues - member referrals, community actlvlties, UKMSA" find a shed" and also ￿la1 servi￿5 links. At the year end we had 53 members, an increase of 13 over the year.

Westem Wolds Men In Sheds Chaiity No: 1181632 Trustees Annual Report For the year ending 31 December 2024 Achievements and Perforniance (Con't) Here is a seSectlon of some of this yearfs highllghts: Installation of a la*r engraver as a result of a successful fund ap￿IcatIon Shed "What's app" group is thriving wth over 50 attive partiapants Successful local Xmas Fayre and in the sumrner a well attended communty event Over 40 members att￿ded our Christsnas lunch Trtps in 2024 have included railway visit to Pickering, a tour of the DRAX power station and a visit tL) the Elvington Air Museum. Projects have been very wide ranging, from the restoratjon of a 50 year old dumper truck for the local canal, owl LM)xes for installation in the surrounding area, equipment for the Amiy Cadets, refurbishment of a mc(lel windmill, plus severdl mini libraries, notlceboards and bench seating. The management of the shed continues to fools on an active shed commlttee of around 16 members with a range of delegated resrA)nsibilities, together with 5 tfustees. The dally banter over tea, coffee, cake and biscuts ensures that the plan to keep the shed open and inclusive is maintained. External links have induded our active involvement in the Humber & Wolds Rural Action, and we have had severdl vistts from other sheds over the year. Our plans for 2025 will continue to focus on meetiro rnemlrrs needs, Maintenan￿ of both our tools and equipment, plus improvements to our physical shed environment. I report on the accounts of Western Wolds Men in Sheds for the period ending 31 D￿ernber 2024, which are t out on pages 9 to 13. Respective responsibilities of Trustees and examiner The charity's trustees are wnsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charivs trustees consider that an audit is rK)t requiwl for this year under section 144 of the Charlties Att 2011 (the Charities Att) and that an I￿Pendent examination is needed. It is my ￿spOnsIbIlity to: examine the accounts under section 145 of the Charitie5 Act, to follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission (under settion 145(5)(b) of the Charities Act, and to state whether particular matt￿5 have come to my attention.
