For the period February 1st 2022 –
31st January 2023 Perkisound has
continued to operate with a
private hourly booking system
ofering daily availability
throughout the year. We have
achieved a considerable amount of
work to a new area on site which
is currently not ready or available
to visitors, where a butterfy barn
and learning area is planned for
2024.
A large commercial size
polytunnel has been reconstructed
and we have made progress with
some of the internal works. Visitor
numbers have increased from last
year, the centre is regularly used
by SEN schools, children’s respite
services, adult residential facilities
and disability community groups
as well as families caring for an
autistic child. The baby/preschool
music stay and play group has
continued during term time and
we have ofered 76 sessions with
1094 children attending over the
year, the group is for all abilities
and around 25% of these children
have additional needs and attend
the group due to the bespoke
nature of the centre. Perkisound
Visitor numbers for this period
were 1,657, all Perkisound visitors
have additional needs and most
are children between the age of 3
and 16 who are on the autistic
spectrum.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended DD / MM / YYYY .

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
