Apiary to aid beginners

final winter preparations

During the past year, we have further developed
the land to provide for
a
'wildflower
meadow'
which
will ba sowed
in the Autumn
of2021.
Further equipment
has been acquired toenhance the two established
apiaries and thus improve
the facility for both new beekeepers
and our
Hornet
Baa Improvement
apiary
A storage shed has been constructed
which now safely houses
beekeeping
aquiprnant
and provides aworkshop
forthe repair,
construction
and provision ofthis equipment.
Asian
Members ofthe L&DBKA AHAT team attended
a conference
hosted by
the BBKAin February 2020 to leam mora about this non-native

members ofthe L&DBKA AHAT team provided

and answered
question
from members of the public from a stall in the Ludlow Market to
raise awareness
ofthe threat of Asian Hornets to honey bae populations.
