People from various established community groups have joined together to form the Crown Wharf Theatre charity with the aim of creating an affordable and accessible facility for the whole community. This project is about creating enhanced local access to arts and culture, advancing education and learning for children and adults and inspiring community participation across a range of performing arts and cultural activities.

We have continued to have a strong presence across the community hosting our own fundraising events, working alongside local community groups and continuing to support the cultural offering of the town as part Summary of the main activities of Stone Festival. undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these We have also been working hard to actively engage with our current and objects (include within this future volunteer base through technical and cinema focused open events section the statutory and providing hands on opportunities for our volunteers to get involved declaration that trustees have on the build side of things. We confirm that the trustees have had regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit.
