Our aim is to provide a vibrant event space for the growing town of Stone and surrounding areas. People from various established community groups have joined together to form the Crown Wharf Theatre charity with the aim of creating an affordable and accessible facility for the whole community. This project is about creating enhanced local access to arts and culture, advancing education and learning for children and adults and inspiring community participation across a range of performing arts and cultural activities.

We have continued to have a strong presence across the community hosting our own fundraising events, working alongside local community groups and continuing to support the cultural offering of the town as part **Summary of the main activities** of Stone Festival. **undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these** We have also been working hard to actively engage with our current and **objects (include within this** future volunteer base through technical and cinema focused open events **section the statutory** and providing hands on opportunities for our volunteers to get involved **declaration that trustees have** on the build side of things. This provides a great chance for people to **had regard to the guidance** engage with the project, meet other volunteers and to contribute. **issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)**

And at the end of the year we found out that we were successful in securing a significant funding grant of £495,00 from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. This will enable us to complete the outstanding installation works and get the doors to the Crown Wharf Theatre open in the not-too-distant future!

We confirm that the trustees have had regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit.

## **Additional details of objectives and activities (Optional information)**
