The Board of Trustees meet quarterty to review the activities and financial position of the charlty. All governance decision5 are made by the Trustees. The day to day work of the charity is undertaken bv the rnanagement team who work closèly with the Trustees. The charity was formerly named The Westside Young Leaders Academy Ltd before changing 115 name via members, special resolution on 14 December 2022 (presented at Companies Plouse on 15 December 20221 to Youn8 LeadÈrs Atademy Ltd. Facilltated a number of career inslghts days in partnership with a nurnber of employers that helped to raise aspir3tions and exposed the young leaders to Positive rtsle models. We facilitated several healthy eating workshops for the youn8 leaders and their parent5. The programmes demonstrated howyou tan eat healthy on a budget. Our facilitators dellvered a positive relationship programme. Positive relationship training help5 the young people sell- worth and equlps them wlth the essential skills and support they need to thrive in all areas of their lives. - The young leaders took part in a sports daywith participants of other supplementary schools. Further enhancln8 their teamwork skills, resilience and deterrnination. vÈmen for the We held our first international residential in the Gambla thls year. Nineteen students visited local schools and dellvered presentations to Garnbian students and their teachers.
