Summary of the main
achievements of the charity,
identifying the difference the
charity’s work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.
Para 1.20 The Cylch Meithrin provided, for the majority
of the year, sessional day care and Ti a Fi
sessions giving opportunities for parents
and carers to meet together whilst their
babies play, all under the care of two
experienced staff. Numbers and support
were sustained. Tragically, the responsible
officer whose pioneering work ensured the
success of the Cylch was diagnosed with
terminal cancer in November 2022 and lost
her battle in early 2023. A replacment
"responsible officer" could not be appointed
and existing staff took alternative positions.
Trustees are working in partnership with
others to re-open the Cylch Meithrin as soon
as possible. A Ti a Fi group has re-started
with encouraging numbers attending.
