Achievements and Performance Fundin for ui ment: The Charity received 37 bids for specialist equipmenl {4 in the end decided they weren't the right Item they needed and 3 were rejected by the Finance Subcommittee). We have also worked hard on rethomlng equipment previously funded by SCAMPPS or donated to the charity. We have rehomed over 20 itsms includlng wheelchairs. trikes, Leckey seats, P- pods and swing seats. Events: We held 2 coffee mornlngs at Bocketts Farni Cafe, had 2 stay and play sesslons at the Yorda Playhouse, 2 sessions rlding trikes at Surrey Wheels for All cycllng. a trip to the Thames Valley Adventure Playground park. We Introduced some mlndful wellbeing pottery painting sesslons which proved to be very popular and are now belng funded by Tesco blue token schemo who donated £1,500 for the

We also ran our very successful and popular Christmas event by Singing Hands kindly funded by a Volunteer who also came and helped look after the familles and serve tea and cakes. We also ran a 4 week cycling course for 12 new children and 3 retuming children. Nearly all the childron wore able to rlde by the end of the sessions and a few will come back for a refresher In October. Wrth the restricted funds we purchased 11 bikes and 10 helmets. Financial Review Review of the charitys financial position at the end of the period P￿a 121 During the year the charity rèceivèd a record amount of donations which. together with brought forward reserves enabled it to mèot its objectivos by holdlng events and fundlng all equipment requests that mel our crlterla. At the year end. our unrestricted fvnds were close to the minimum required under our reserves policy which has meant the charity has taken the difficult decision that future funding of equipment will have to bo dependent on the amount of donatlons received in the futuTr. Over the period, we have been fortunate to recelve a total of £45,241 (2024: £34.212) in donations and speclflc fundlng for trlkeslblkeslbuggies and accessories, and from the Three Oaks T￿￿t who fund small items. Through a lot of targeted appeals by our admlnlstrator, we have gained a substantlal Incr•asg on the previous year. The r05t of the donations were recolved from a variety of Charllabla Trusts and Foundations. including through the efforts of our pn)fessional fundralser. Total Income for th1$ p•riod was £46.078 (2024: £34.660)

Total expenditure for the period was £49.064 (2024: £31175) Key areas of expenditure were as follows: purchase of specialist and other equipment £29.852 {2024: £17.871). The remaining funds were spent on: SCAMPPS events £2,393 12024:£1.531). We have found some ways to keep our costs down this year We have spent a bit more because of having been glven money specifically for the pottery sessions Cycling courses, including bikes for the participants, £5,529 (2024:£5,108) paid for out of funds specifically donated for that purpose. Fundraising and overhead costs £11.290 (2024:£7,666). The totsl closing funds on 31st August 2025, were £14,752 (2024: £17.738) which included unrestricted funds of £10,524 (2024: £11,574) and restrlcted funds of £4,228 (2024: £6,164) representlng donations received to fvnd specffic types of equlpmenL events and another cycllng course. I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of SCAMPPS in Surrey (the Charity) for the period 1 September 2024 to 31 August 2025.

Responsibilities and basis of report

As the charity trustees of the Charity, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (‘the Act’).

I report in respect of my examination of the Charities’ accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under s. 145(5)(b) of the Act.

Independent examiner’s statement

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect:

  1. accounting records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by section 130 of the Act; or

  2. the accounts do not accord with those records.

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
