This will require an amendment to our charitable objects |

Achievements and Performance
| SORP reference | ||
|---|---|---|
| Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | During this year the charity has sought to hone its skills and widen its reach, building on the experience of the previous year. Teachers are busy people and feedback has been by a verbal conversation both during and after the day. Every school we have visited has invited us back. One teacher wrote:“ Can I please say a huge thank you to everyone for your help with the Edison workshop. The children really enjoyed it and it has made a big impact on their understanding of programming. My daughter came home from [another school] a couple of weeks ago buzzing about the Edison robot workshop she had done there” It is not an activity which would justify schools buying the robots themselves and teachers are diffident in their coding skills. Providing an explanation by those who have programmed robots in industry lends authenticity. Whilst we have expanded the number of sessions and schools during this year and made more connections with new schools this is work to do in future years |
