KING'S LYNN LIONS CLUB- CIO 1180856 TRUSTEES MEETING 9° June 2024 Present: Trevor John Groom - Chairman Margaret Groom Andrew Clark Eleanor Barber It has been a year in which we gained a member, and we have kept the presence of King's Lynn Lions Club in the town. Norton Hill in August was cancelled by Mr Schumann on the Saturday due to torrential rain, but the Sunday went really well. Mr Schumann was very pleased and gave us a cheque for £4,100 and together with his Gift aid donation, it came to £5,125.00. We did a street collection in September for the dub and managed to collect £108.69 at the same time promoting the organisation. Fawkes in the Walks was cancelled by the Borough Council due to the inclement weather.. Father Christmas at one of the local stores made £230 which was great. We gave away donations totalling £3.688.75. Fun Day was a great day, and we actually made a profit of £131.60 which was amazing. All income and expenditure is agreed by the club members at each Business meeting in the presence of the Trustees. This is noted on each set of minutes from that meeting. Agreed and signed: Chairman of Trust Trevor Joh Gro th
