| . Guernsey's Rural Occupational Workshop - is a Guernsey registered charity wholly owned by |
| Guernsey Mencap LBG. The charity aims to provide training, employment and occupation for people |
| with learning disabilities. The main source oftheir income is obtained from the sale of plants and |
| produce, a garden maintenance service and the refurbishment ofgarden furniture. They also rely |
| heavily on donations to support the ever increasing cost of running the GROW operation, and to |
| ensure that their service users have the very best working environment. |
| . StJohn Guernsey - is a charity registered in Guernsey with the object ofthe organisation, training |
| and equipment ofmen, women and young persons to undertake on a voluntary basis, either as |
| individuals or as organised groups, first aid, caring and allied activities, in the streets, public places |
| or elsewhere as occasion may require for the relief, transport, comfort orwelfare ofthose in need. |
| They work in accordance with St.John Ambulance General Regulations. |
| . Guernsey Welfare Service - is a Christian Charity supported by many denominations ofchurch on |
| the island including Baptist, Church of England, Methodist, New Frontiers, Catholics and Salvation |
| Army in both practical and prayerful ways. It is registered in Guernsey. The charity works with a |
| variety ofpeople who find themselves in financial need, including single-parent families, pensioners, |
| people with disabilities or long-term medical conditions and families on low incomes who may find |
| themselves with unexpected medical or household bills that put them in financial difficulty. |
| . English National Opera - is a charity registered in England and Wales which produces and presents opera and intends to develop and extend audiences for opera and understanding ofthe |
| lyric arts in London and throughout the country. |
| Bright Beginnings Children's Centre - is a part of Every Child Our Future LBGa charity registered in Guernsey. The centre offers a combination offree and paid for services for 51weeks ofthe year |
| excluding bank holidays, operating as part ofthe local Guernsey charity, Every Child Our Future. They are working to the 1001 Critical Days Agenda, which emphasises the central importance ofa child's relationship with its parents and caregivers and the main focus of all oftheir work is on this |
| relationship. The 1001 Critical Days Agenda forms part ofthe Children and Young People's Plan for |
| Guernsey and Alderney. The Centre's aim is for every child to have at least one secure attachment relationship by age 2. They will achieve this by supporting parents to be the best they can be. |
| Willow Foundation - is a charity registered in England and Wales which supports seriously ill |
| people aged between 16to 40 years old, throughout the UK to get more out of life by providing unique and positive Special Days. For some, it gives a positive focus away from diagnosis and |
| treatment and may be a final chance to create lasting memories. For others, it marks recovery from a |
| serious illness, boosting confidence and providing motivation to move forward with their lives. |
