Para 1.20 | Grants were made during 2021 totalling £21,698 to registered organisations on Alderney which enabled them to purchase equipment, coaching and first aid/safeguarding courses they may not otherwise have had. Part of this funding was given as grants for two individuals on a "performance pathway" programme through Alderney FC to enable them to participate in further training and matches as "elite players" in Guernsey. The charity also helped in the furthering of plans to build a swimming pool and sports hall on the island as it currently has neither. The Charity also produced and provided a Sports Action Plan for the island, a copy of which can found on our website. |
