Other Achievements and Performance SORP rfence Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charEty's work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as whole. In co-operation with Cranleigh Arts an A Capella concert staring the Queens 6 was held with a repertoire of both traditional English and European music followed by more contemporary pieces. Para 1.20 A village wÉde appeal was mounted as a Heritage Day in September. Records held by the Surrey History Cenlre were borrowed. Displays in addition were mounted covering the English manarchy overthe centuries and notable events affecting Cranleigh as the change of monarchs occurred. Activities for children included hunts in the churchyard and craft work over the centuries. Tours of the Churchyard included. Financial Review Review of the charity's financial position at the end of the period Par8 1 21 The charity had a positive financial year ending the year with a net increase in funds exceeding £43,167. The annual Heritage Day was a success, but the appeal to the Village income was lower than the previous year at a little over £5,000. The joint venture oncert with Cranleigh Arts raised over £1,300 for 1170. A newly set up 1000 Club in partnership with 2 other 'Heritage' charities in the village, generated c£1000 for 1170.
