and small local charites. A small percentage of
our funds is sent to Lions clubs Internatonal
who use contributons from around the world to
fund crisis and humanitarian aid in the afermath
of major disasters.

We have been able to hold all of our traditonal
fund raising events such as our quiz nights, car
show, donkey derby, Victoria Day and two
Christmas Fairs, along with our Christmas bucket
collecton, which takes place in two local
supermarkets.
This was the second year of running our own
free prostate cancer check clinic, where
approximately 200 men were tested.
Unfortunately, this is the last year we can hold
this,as the testngcertfcate has expired.

small grants to local families in need and small
local charites so they can expand their actvites
within our borough. We have also contributed to
our local Lions Zone projects, which includes
supplying computers to schools, funding our
Funfest event which is a free day out for families
with disabled children and fnancing our
Community store which provides people in need
with furniture and household appliances. We
also held our free prostate cancer check clinic,
where approximately 200 men were tested.
