Section D Achievements and performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year

This year we have increased the membership to 27 with some of the new members bringing much needed new leadership and volunteers to the organisation.

One of the new members was 91-year-old widower and has very much enjoyed the company attending most weekly social meetings.

During this year we have started a thriving events/ outings program in addition to the weekly social meeting. The events have been a greatly received by most members and have greatly increased what we have to offer. Examples are an archery taster course, bowling tasters, 2 BBQs (for members and their partners/friends), beers and curry evenings, skittles and much more.

Our community allotment continues to produce lovely produce for the members. And we were donated funding for a poly tunnel to extend what we can grow.

We have just found a new home for our actual craft workshop, so exciting times ahead.
