Para 1.20 The main objectives of the charity in the
period was to get established with 9
Trustees who would meet on a regular
basis and would then look towards setting
future goals and objectives in future years.
The second objective was to transfer the
land and buildings from the unincorporated
Aldwinians RUFC into the Aldwinians
Rugby Union Football Club Charity
however the actual transfer occurred on the
8thFeb 2019 so in the previous year
2019/20, at a value of £434,221.
The land and buildings were later valued at
£850,000 on the 15thOctober 2020 by a
commercial chartered surveyor.
In addition to the above the charity wanted
to increase its rugby offering to include a
junior girls team.
All of which with the exception of the
creation of the junior girls team were
achieved. This final objective was due to
the COVID 19 restrictions in training and
playing.

Review of the charity’s
financial position at the end
of the period
Para 1.21 The only financial activity for the period was
for the charity to receive the land and
buildings from the unincorporated
organisation known as Aldwinians RUFC
and the subsequent rental for the use of the
bar and function room areas.
The land and buildings were transferred at
the value the values at £434,221 on the 8th
February 2019.
And the rental income was £12,000.

Para 1.22 In this initial period the trustee’s main
objective was to acquire the land and
buildings, and to establish a rental income
from the bar and function room areas. The
income is low risk and stable, also the
responsibility for the upkeep and costs of
such for areas used by the public remained
with the unincorporated club and not the
charity, therefore, as at the period end
there was no policy required to hold
reserves.
