Promoting Volunteering. All our members are volunleers in that we make donations to Lions Clubs Intemational to cover our administration costs. We believe every penny we raise should count towards fuffilling our objectives. Promoting vdunteering is essential to our wellbeing and to achieve the maximum public benefit. We en￿Urage our ￿MmUnty groups to volunteer wilh us so that we can achieve more. Relief of Povertyrfhose in Neod. We donated mobility sco)ters to eldety people in need. We tffovided fiifed shoe boxes to a local community knlchen and also donated presents for teenagers via a local youth charity providing Xmas gifts to Ihose would not otheThvise have received anything on Xmas day. Our members supported the British Legion by selling Pop￿eS and other merchandise at local superrnarkets. Our volunts8rs re9ularfy give their time to support local food banks and community kitch8n to help provide ftxKI to Ihose in nèed A grant was made to a Icul schwl mini bus app&al to help disabkd stthts take part in activities within the district Th• advancement of health or tho savlng of IIv05.
