The club has continues to be involved in a number of fundraising activities. From March onwards it has continued to hold a breakfast bar at a local Car Boot sale, serving bacon sausages and burgers, plus drinks for visitors to the car boot. It has been a good way of raising our profile within the community. It has also held an Easter promotion,in conjunction with the local cinema’s Easter Bunny trailwith free eggs for Children on Easter Sunday. A stand at a local show in June with a Tombola was another fundraising activity. Plus we held a provided a burger stall at a local village fete for 50% of the takings. In November we supported the Marlborough Community by providing Father Christmas and his sleigh and drove the Mayor through the centre of Marlborough at the annual Christmas light switch-on. We took donations and provided a photo opportunity for children with Father Christmas. Father Christmas and his sleigh was also driven to local housing estates, (where possible), with a static float in Marlborough High Street and supermarkets in the area, bringing joy to families and raising funds throughout December. We also supported the local cinema in December at their Christmas Fair. |

Financial Review
| Financial Review | ||
|---|---|---|
| Review of the charity’s financial position at the end of the period |
Para 1.21 | The club has managed its finances to end the year with a good balance, but with a slightly reduced fundraising income. £4,292, against an income of £3,170. With a decrease in a number of members, together with constraints on our BBQ fundraiser (due to the dry weather) it has been a difficult year. We still hold a reasonable balance, to enable us to continue to provide help and support to those who need help. |
