Following the refurbishment ofthe Village Hall (funded by the National Lottery), which commenced in July 2018and was completed August 2019, Laxton Village Hall has been available to be rented by residents ofthe village and surrounding area, subject to the restrictions |

| The financial results for the year to 31 December 2021 were therefore |

| impacted significantly by the Coronavirus pandemic restrictions, with the |
|||||||
| Village Hall unable to be opened for long periods oftime and other |
|||||||
| periods where residents and local groups were not keen to return to |
|||||||
| using the facilities with income therefore reduced. Whilst some costs | |||||||
| were incurred over these closure periods and periods of inactivity, these |
|||||||
| were lower than would be expected ifthe Village Hall was in constant |
use | ||||||
| throughout. | |||||||
| Only minor refurbishment expenditure was incurred in the year to |
|||||||
| 31 December 2021 given the closure ofthe Village Hall for parts ofthe |
|||||||

| The Charity does not have a formal reserves policy. Reserves at |
|||||||
