P•¥1X) The coaching at the original school (Otlawa primary school) was moved to support comvnunity cx)aching initiative run by a nes%ty appointed coach there. This allows chiklren in the Ottawa school. as well as those that are not attending reguLar schwling, to lake part in coaching located al a community space nearby. Funding was provided for a coach attached to a fourbdation with similar objectives to the Mike Procter FoundalK)n (the Harry Mnisi Foundaliw) to enable ¢rickel coaching to be provided to under privileged thildren in Ihe communi of Acomhoek
from April 2024 onwards. This culminated in a ccfftmunity srM)rts event held in 0mber 2024. at which an Kiaugural Mike Procter cricket Irophy was competed f by community teams. The fr coaches in Thjrban, UTer the supervisk)n of the lead coach (Rodney Mulamba}. have been relained and nlinue to provide dedicated work for the Foundation. Ongoing payment of the coad)es' salaries provwjes an important source of income locally. The coaches are provwjing regular sports and cricket cA)aching for the chihlren. which is a part of the curriculum that is much appreciated by the Soloman Malanga school governing boar(l and Prir1pal.
