The coaching at the original school (Otlawa
primary school) was moved to support
comvnunity cx)aching initiative run by a
nes%ty appointed coach there. This allows
chiklren in the Ottawa school. as well as
those that are not attending reguLar
schwling, to lake part in coaching located
al a community space nearby.
Funding was provided for a coach attached
to a fourbdation with similar objectives to
the Mike Procter FoundalK)n (the Harry
Mnisi Foundaliw) to enable ¢rickel
coaching to be provided to under privileged
thildren in Ihe communi
of Acomhoek

from April 2024 onwards. This culminated
in a ccfftmunity srM)rts event held in
0￿mber 2024. at which an Kiaugural
Mike Procter cricket Irophy was competed
f￿ by community teams.
The f￿r coaches in Thjrban, UT￿er the
supervisk)n of the lead coach (Rodney
Mulamba}. have been relained and
nlinue to provide dedicated work for the
Foundation. Ongoing payment of the
coad)es' salaries provwjes an important
source of income locally. The coaches are
provwjing regular sports and cricket
cA)aching for the chihlren. which is a part of
the curriculum that is much appreciated by
the Soloman Malanga school governing
boar(l and Prir￿1pal.
This rounded package of welfare benefrts
are ncw therefore being prowded at
siles in Durban. and has expanded to a
second lOCat￿n. Acornhoek, in South

TVJD UK based trustees visited South Afr*ca
l in January 2024. They attended coaching
sessrons in Durban with the Ftyjnder. They
also faulilaled Ihe launch of the new
