The objects of the CIO are
advance art, culture and heritage for the public benefit, in particular, but not exclusively, by holding an annual literature festival in Llandeilo, and Summary of the objects of the other minor literary events in Llandeilo and surrounding areas within charity set out in its Carmarthenshire. governing document

The festival was held live and branched back out into evening events and satellite locations. With story telling stints in venues around town the total number of individual sessions was 30. No sessions were streamed online. Over £5625 was obtained from the generosity of Local Businesses, incl £1425 from Literature Wales and £1000 from the Llandeilo Town Council. Ticket sales revenue after fees reached £6792.51. We spent a lot on Marketing to reignite interest and offered all authors payment and expenses of £150

Adding the pottery festival with a cross over of a pottery biography as part of the Lit Fest added interest and footfall, as did the story telling and music recitals all around town. 800 + people attended and the feedback from over 260 feedback forms was overwhelmingly positive, with over 200 giving us top marks for venues, speakers, value for money, festival overall and marketing.
