Storage of toys The charity has storage fa(ililEs in Crewe arKI Wlmslow, where donated teddies and books can be dropped off to be checked and sorted. We also use trse storage faciliti'es to store all the toys we purchase from wholers. Review of donated toys We sort through all the donated books and ldieS ensuring they are high qualty. Any not of a sUfficnt qualty or which have been defaced in Son way are erther repaired. recycSed or donated to other chaTrties within the area. All teddies donated are washed, dned and stored until needed, in 2024 tt)is equated to approx.7000 teddies and over 20,000 books. Identification of ChildrenlFamilie8 in Need All children requiring support from The Toy Appeal are referred to us via their school. sooal wotker or food bank. The Toy Appeal liaises only through these methods and does not engage directly wrth the children or their families.
