Activities

To advance the education of the public in order that they are equipped to commence or return to work. This will support those with high needs, NEETS, young mothers and mental health and emotional issues. The subjects covered are Hairdressing, Equine and Small Animal Care, Land Based Studies and Maths & English. To relieve poverty by assisting with developing social, mental and physical skills.

Objects: The Objects Of Alpha Training Learn And Work Are As Follows: To Advance The Education Of The Public In The Subject Of Hairdressing, Horse Care, Animal Care, Maths, English, ICT, Personal Development And Life Skills. To Advance The Education Of The Pupils At Alpha Training By Providing And Assisting In The Provision Of Facilities, Not Required To Be Provided By The Local Education Authority, For Education At The School. To Advance The Education Of The Public, In Equipping And Enabling Work Readiness. For The Public Benefit To Promote The Education (including Social And Physical Training) Of People In Walsall And Cannock In Such Ways As The Charity Trustees Think Fit, Including By: ? Awarding To Such Persons Scholarships Of Higher Or Further Education. ? Providing Their Education, To Undertake Travel In Furtherance Of That Education Or To Prepare For Entry To Any Occupation, Trade Or Profession On Leaving Alpha Training. ? To Assist In Such Ways As The Charity Trustees Think Fit At Alpha Training, Whose Aims Include Advancing Education Of Persons By Developing Their Mental, Physical And Moral Capabilities Through Leisure Time Activities. ? For The Public Benefit To Promote Learning For Pleasure By People No Longer In Full Time Employment Through The Continued Development Of Their Individual Capabilities, Competencies, Skills And Understanding In Subjects Of Educational Value.nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The CIO For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With [section 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment (scotland) Act 2005] And [section 2 Of The Charities Act (northern Ireland) 2008]
