The Club members arrange fund r8i3ing events and seNlce actlvlties locally to ralse money, it relies on Ihe surpluses made on the88 events and donatlons from the public to provlde th9 funds with which to carry out its objectives. All admlnlstrative expenses of the Club are met from subscriptlons pald by members. General Management Th8 Trustees have followed th8 general gUIdan as lald out In our Constitutlon and By-Law8 when d8allng with all the actlvltles of th6 Club. All grants and business dedsions of the Club Is ratlfied by the members. Flnanclal The Bamstaple Lions Club manage three bank accounts, ts the admlnlstration of the Clubs busin&ss affairs (Internatlonal. mUl-DIstrICt, Dlstrict and Insurance fees). a fundralslng account lo promote activ5tss and a further account for the Clubs Charitable donatlons. A grant was recelved from Ihe Barnstaple Town Councll of £1,000 for a Plcnlc In the Park event orl June 9th 2024. It Is the dub's pollcy to maintsin unrestrlcted funds so that they are avallable for alloGatlon when requlred to meet our club ob}ectives for ch8rltable donatlons.
