I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31/12/2023 .

Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

All praise and thanks are due to Allah for another fruitful year in our mission to serve the
Ummah through technology. We are grateful for His guidance and mercy, and we are
thankful for the generous donations and unwavering support from our community.
This report provides an overview of our key activities, accomplishments, and goals over the
past year. Alhamdulillah, in 2023, your contributions helped 3.5 million Muslims worldwide
spend an average of 19 minutes each week engaging with our apps to better understand
Islam.
Highlights of 2023
1.
Seerah Website
We launched a dedicated Seerah website to spread the teachings of Prophet
Muhammadﷺ.
2.
Zakat Calculator
In collaboration with the Islamic Finance Advisory Council (IFAC), we developed a
Zakat Calculator to assist individuals and small businesses in calculating their Zakat,
available in both English and Bangla.
3.
Greentech Apps Limited (GTAL)
This is the service wing of the foundation, offering UI/UX Design, Mobile App
Development, and Web Development services to businesses and non-profit
organizations, allowing us to sustain and grow our charitable activities.
4.
SearchDeen
A comprehensive Islamic reference search engine designed to aid students,
researchers, and Islamic scholars in deepening their knowledge.
5.
Al Quraner Vasha Android App
A new app created to teach Arabic, especially Quranic Arabic, to both Bangla and
English speakers.

6. GTAF Resource Website

We started developing the GTAF resource website, where we aim to share data, resources, and technical knowledge to benefit the wider community.

  7. Sadiq App In Ramadan 2024, we plan to launch a new app that serves as a daily companion for prayer times, Quran verses, dua, Qibla direction, and more.

Engagement and Team Development We plan to further enhance engagement with our users by building a stronger connection between the app users, supporters, and the GTAF ecosystem. Additionally, we aim to develop the skills and collaboration of our internal team to deliver higher-quality services and more efficient outcomes.

2023 has been a year of significant progress for Greentech Apps Foundation. Through your donations, we were able to reach millions of Muslims worldwide, helping them to better understand and connect with their faith through technology. We look forward to further expanding our reach and improving our services in 2024, and we pray that Allah grants us the strength to continue in this noble cause.

Para 1.21 Due to the rising inflation rates, the charity has adopted a fairly cautious approach in regard
to its finances and expenditures. The charity is grateful for the response from the community
and are pleased that we have been able to achieve our fundraising targets. The charity has

funds of£165,452available to the charity at the end of the financial year.
