I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended **31/12/2023** . 

**Responsibilities and** As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation **basis of report** of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). 

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. 

**Independent** I have completed my examination.  I confirm that no material matters have **examiner's statement** come to my attention (other than that disclosed below *) in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:

Alhamdulillah, in 2023, your contributions helped 3.5 million Muslims worldwide<br>spend an average of 19 minutes each week engaging with our apps to better understand<br>Islam.<br>**Highlights of 2023**<br>1.<br>**Seerah Website**<br>We launched a dedicated Seerah website to spread the teachings of Prophet<br>Muhammadﷺ.<br>2.<br>**Zakat Calculator**<br>In collaboration with the Islamic Finance Advisory Council (IFAC), we developed a<br>Zakat Calculator to assist individuals and small businesses in calculating their Zakat,<br>available in both English and Bangla.<br>3.<br>**Greentech Apps Limited (GTAL)**<br>This is the service wing of the foundation, offering UI/UX Design, Mobile App<br>Development, and Web Development services to businesses and non-profit<br>organizations, allowing us to sustain and grow our charitable activities.<br>4.<br>**SearchDeen**<br>A comprehensive Islamic reference search engine designed to aid students,<br>researchers, and Islamic scholars in deepening their knowledge.<br>5.<br>**Al Quraner Vasha Android App**<br>A new app created to teach Arabic, especially Quranic Arabic, to both Bangla and<br>English speakers.|

We started developing the GTAF resource website, where we aim to share data, resources, and technical knowledge to benefit the wider community. 

## **Key App Updates** 

## _Al Quran (Tafsir & By Word)_ 

- Introduced Quran Streaks to encourage consistent engagement. 

- Added Ruku markers and enhanced audio recitation features, including speed control and SD card storage. 

- Expanded translations into Kyrgyz and Lithuanian, with several improvements in other languages like Arabic, Divehi, and Urdu. 

- Added a "Library" feature for bookmarking and organizing favourite verses in the Windows app. 

- Indopak script integration for a more inclusive reading experience. 

## _Hadith App_ 

- Launched the Hadith Gallery, allowing users to share beautifully designed Hadith images. 

- Enhanced search functionality and filters, making it easier to find relevant Hadith. 

- Improved search accuracy by introducing diacritic-free Arabic search options. 

## _Dua App [English & Bangla]_ 

- Updated fonts and categories for a smoother user experience. 

- Resolved multiple bugs to enhance app stability. 

## _Seerah App_ 

- Added a new section on the Miracles of the Prophet ﷺ. 

- Improved search functionality for better results. 



## _Deen Quiz App_ 

- Improved quiz features with a 30-second timer per question. 

- Resolved bugs for a seamless experience. 

## **2024 Goals** 

1. **Quran App** 

   - Voice and transliteration search. 

   - Improved audio features like smoother streaming and downloading. 

2. **Hadith App** 

   - Daily Hadith and seasonal lessons. 

   - Expansion into Bangla and Urdu. 

3. **Sadiq App** In Ramadan 2024, we plan to launch a new app that serves as a daily companion for prayer times, Quran verses, dua, Qibla direction, and more. 

**Engagement and Team Development** We plan to further enhance engagement with our users by building a stronger connection between the app users, supporters, and the GTAF ecosystem. Additionally, we aim to develop the skills and collaboration of our internal team to deliver higher-quality services and more efficient outcomes. 

## **Conclusion** 

2023 has been a year of significant progress for Greentech Apps Foundation. Through your donations, we were able to reach millions of Muslims worldwide, helping them to better understand and connect with their faith through technology. We look forward to further expanding our reach and improving our services in 2024, and we pray that Allah grants us the strength to continue in this noble cause.
