The committee has continued to arrange a
series of events in the Church. These

restoration of the historic stained glass and
windows.

Achievements and Performance

SORP reference
Summary of the main
achievements of the charity,
identifying the difference the
charity’s work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.
Para 1.20 Some minor maintenance work has taken
place, but there has been no major
restoration work during this period. The
assessment of the condition of the historic
stained glass, and of the windows has been
completed with input from diocesan and
other experts as well as the main report from
Holy Well Glass. We are now working to
raise the funds to enable the necessary work
to be commissioned.
One of the trustees has continued efforts to
engage with local schools ADD MORE.
Engagement with the local community
remains a core activity. This is done largely
through organised events during the year:
monthly coffee mornings during the winter
and weekly afternoon teas during the
summer; regular musical concerts and a
Christmas Wreath event.
We have continued to fund a series of
information leaflets which are available free
in the Church. These are popular with
visitors and are updated as necessary.

objectives set

Para 1.41

See above
Performance of fundraising
activities against objectives
set
Para 1.41 We had two broad fundraising targets for this
year. The first was to raise enough money to
meet our regular annual commitments to
ensure the Church building can remain open
to serve the community. This was achieved.
The second target was to start raising the
funds necessary to commission the
restoration of the stained glass windows. We
did not set a specific target for the year but
we are pleased with the progress we have
made.
Not applicable.
