The COVID pandemic and fluctuating restrictions have continued to have a significant impact on the progression of Llinos Foundation this year. The training programme for the donkeys Pandora and Tonks has continued. COVID risk management in line with Government guidelines will be adhered to during therapy sessions when the situation is stable enough to carry out regular interventions. Llinos Foundation recognises the impact of the pandemic on small charities and continues to have discussions with other charities and social enterprises to explore ways to collaborate on potential projects. Discussions are ongoing with PhD students regarding research into the design and benefits of animal assisted therapy programmes in the future. |
