Another aoa of expenditure Is our prlntln& althou8h much reduced now that most of the membershlp Is happy to recelve correspondence vla emall. 5Snce Smlth & Sons Prlnters closed In 2022, we now use New Forest Statloners In New Mllton for most of our bulk prlntln8 needs. We dld not produce an Occaslonal Magazine In 2023, although we Contlnued to sell a few of the 2022 and earller edltlons. Lijoklng bacl we pald £470 for the 2022 prlnt run and have taken about É400 In Income, so small loss made. We may need to Increase the prl¢ln8 In the fvture. We have also started usln8 membershlp Cards. Thls Is Intended to slmpllfy and streamllne the arrlval process at meetln8S. The Weald and Downland Llvlng Museum outlng was hlghly successful. We more than filled the bus and some vlsltors travelled by carshare, The result was a profit of£190. Another hlghly su¢cessful day was the commemoratlon of the new Cornwallls plaque at St Ann's Church In Portsmouth, partly funded by The 1805 Club. The expenses for this marked the end of the Cornwallls/Peyton prolect actlvltles. We have set a51de £750 for future malntenance of the plaques at All Salnts and wlth the resldual funds. donated hlstory books to Mos Prlmary School and made a yant of £1,619.06 to The 1805 Club. Another grant was 8lven to Mr Nlck Saunders for hls work on the Indlan Army In the New Forest. Th15 was judged an approprlate use of the £SOO 8ift we recelved from the local Arts Society whlch ¢losed In 2021. The Local Hlstory Llves project is comlng to a Close. It enable5 the general public to look up some of the n3mes, house5. Streets and other informatlon that is now available onllne through our website https:Ilwww.mllfordhlstory.org.uV.
