The trustees oversee the day to day running of the charity, and the seek the views of the volunteer specialist in deciding the running support and housing being provided to vulnerable adults. The trustees also seek the views of the volunteer specialist on ways to alleviate poverty. There is a vulnerable adults protection policy in place. Criminal records bureau checks are carried out prior to commencement of any employment or trusteeship and checks are carried out again in line with statutory requirements.
Calamity Relief has decided to registered itself with Companies House as a Limited by Guarantee (Community Interest Company) company under the name of “Calamity Relief Housing LTD” in the financial period 2025 / 2026.
All trustees give their time voluntarily and received no renumeration or other benefits.
