Summary of the Main Achievements of the Charity for the Year Leeds Voc21 Movement has maintained a choir membershÉp level of around 50 members throughout the year, including maintaining a waiting list at certain times. such we transitioned to a new. more appropriate venue in November. connerting us with another Icol charitable organisation IEa5t Street Arts). We horted public cOnrts this year. one collaborative concert with Phoènix Concert Band. and one concert of our own in December. We performed to around 250 audience members across these concerts. In addition. a Small ensemble from Leeds Vocal Movement perfom)ed again at Left Bank for their Christmas event. whach is now 3 regular collaboration in the LVM c31endar. Due to the impart of the Covid-19 Comnaviru5 pandemio Leeds Vocal Movement ceased physical rehearsals in March 2020, and to date have not returned to rehearsing in person. In place of this we have modified our artivity and delIred five online rehearsals to our choir rneMbe using a ptyas-you-feel format and Poge4of9

In May we also released ourfirst online Ferformance. created with the help of our choir membefs who all sang a pieee from their homes. These recordings were then edited together and released via our Facebook page. To date this wdeo has received over I.6 Views. This year we have not hosted arw public work5hop5 due to lack of funding, and instead we have continued to focus on community-building for our choir membe. through Week social events and oprM)rtunitie5. These have included carol s4ngin& bowling and park visits. and a Christmas wial meal attended by over 30 people. We have conDnued to engage our choir community throughout the pandemic lockdown period through regular social events online and more recently through socially-distsnced meet-ups in outdoor spaces. Throughout the lockdown period we have ceased requesting membership funds from choir members. and any exi#ing funds have been noted against the coming terni. Alongside this. our two paid leader5 have not requested payment for online rehearsa15, but have instead chosen to run these sessions on a voluntsry basls in orderto fundraise for other charities. such. Leeds Vocal Movement remain5 in a stsble financial position at this yearend. Financial Review Brief Statement of the Charity's Policy on Reserves Lèeds Vocal Movement will hold sufficient reserves to enable the long-temi sustainability of the charity. The serves held will cover one term of standard operating costs, to enable the choir to continue in the event of a loss of external funding or other major finanual everrt imparting on the ability of members to contribute their membership fees. Thi5 policy will be reviewed annually in line with the budgeting and planning process to ensure that the reserves policy does not restritt the abilrty of Leeds Vocal Murfement to grow orto enhan operntions. On the basis of current operating costs. Leed5 Vocal McNement will mairrtain a reserve of £2.5W to be used for the purposes outlined abe.
