Para 1.20 | • Over 20 public talks carried out to a variety of groups • Large science-based school event participated in with over 800 children passing through • Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 the Field Studies Council Identification weekend was cancelled for 2020 although we have rebooked with FSC for 2021 • No international field trips have been carried out due to Covid-19 • Continued support of various wild raptor monitoring schemes which in turn we can use to educate the general public in • Consultancy based advice offered to various organisations and individual raptor study groups • Development of a new environmentally efficient nest box supplier • Strong relationship made with Chester University and the support in developing a Tawny owl nest box scheme carried out by a Masters student which will continue into 2021 • Associations made with Gloucestershire Raptor Monitoring Group and Highland Raptor Study Group to work together sharing scientific research for educational purposes • Large exposure on social media by carrying our 24 online interviews with raptor biologists and experts. Appointment of charity trustees (1) Apart from the first charity trustees, every trustee must be appointed for a term of three years by a resolution passed at a properly convened meeting of the charity trustees. (2) In selecting individuals for appointment as charity trustees, the charity trustees must have regard to the skills, knowledge and experience needed for the effective administration of the CIO. |
