Para 1.17 and 1 .19	Fund raising activities had to be cancelled this year because of the corona virus. Our income had to be generated from donations made by members and their friends and families.
Statement confirming whether the trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit	Para 1.18	The Trustees have referred to the Charity Commission's general guidance on public benefit when reviewing House of caring aims and objectives and in planning future activities. In particular, the trustees considered how planned activities will contribute to the Association's aims and owectives.

chievements and Performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity's work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole.	Para 1.20	The main association in the USA, started work on the new build which will eventually allow House of Caring Sierra Leone to have its own building. The building will be larger than the present rented premises. This will allow us to accept more boys from the community. We also hope to increase the number of girls that we do outreach work with. The new home will be in the same town as the present site. This will be good for all, as well established ties exist between the home and the community. Although our numbers are small, the impact on the community is great. It gets children out of poverty, provides shelter, education and nurturing in a caring environment. The burden on relatives who are already overstretched, is also relieved.

Financial Review
