work on the new build which will eventually
allow House of Caring Sierra Leone to have
its own building.
The building will be larger than the present
rented premises. This will allow us to accept
more boys from the community. We also
hope to increase the number of girls that we
do outreach work with.
The new home will be in the same town as
the present site. This will be good for all, as
well established ties exist between the
home and the community.
Although our numbers are small, the
impact on the community is great. It gets
children out of poverty, provides shelter,
education and nurturing in a caring
environment. The burden on relatives who
