Achievements and Performance
SORP reference
| Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the diference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its benefciaries and any wider benefts to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | The trustees who manage the charity have set up a stable platform for the charity including the establishment of a social media presence to increase public awareness. A charitable bank account has been set up with CAFBank, which took up a large amount of time in the past year. Having this account will now allow the charity to seek grants and funding opportunities to allow us to meet our objective to alleviate poverty and improve education through the support of CCCYD Zambia. We have also set up an easy fundraising page and recruited a number of people to include this on their computers, which will start raising some money for the upcoming year. We are still in the early stages of the charity and the COVID-19 pandemic interrupted many of our fundraising plans, however we envisage our main achievements will come in the near future. |
