Financial Review
Review of the charity’s financial position at the end of theperiod	Para 1.21	The charity’s financial position has been reviewed by trustees and is consideredgood.
Statement explaining the policy for holding reserves stating why they are held	Para 1.22	It is not the intent of the club to hold reserves other than required to support costs of an event. We also retain funds specifically donated for the installation and ongoing maintenance of our Defibrillators.

Explanation of any uncertainties about the charity continuing as a going concern	Para 1.23	There was major concern regarding the lack of suitable insurance cover nationally. And as a result, potentially resulting us having to cancel two major fundraising events. We eventually sourced insurance for these two events from independent insurers and still raised almost £6,000 net. Subsequently Lions Uk have a new insurance provider that will in the future cover these events.

Our major source of funds was our Ride over the Edge (ROE) Cycle event, 10k Under the Edge (10k) and our weekly on-line meat draw. Note: Figure in the accounts for ROE and 10k events span 2 years.
