Para 1.20 During the year, the charity has successfully
raised a further £4,293 to support its objectives
of funding medical research projects focussed on
Arrhythmogenic Cardiomyopathy, a heart
muscle disease that affects young people. This
means that the charity has raised almost
£155,000 to achieve its objectives.
Following the receipt of a satisfactory progress
report for the research project undertaken by
UCL ‘Disease Stratification in Arrhythmogenic
Cardiomyopathy,’ we were pleased to release
the second tranche payment of £57,651 in the
year. The project is due to conclude in October
2023, after which its findings will be presented
to the trustees.
