Activities

Friends of Roman Aldborough (FORA) provide a series of lectures open to members and the public on Roman history and related topics and site visits linked to the talks. Members offer weekly guided tours of Roman Aldborough Town site, talks to local group meetings, work with Cambridge University on their digs in Aldborough and assist English Heritage who manage the Aldborough site.

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are To Advance Education By Promoting, Sustaining And Increasing The Individual And Collective Knowledge Of People Of All Ages Of Roman History, Life And Culture And, In Particular But Not Exclusively, The Importance Of Roman Aldborough (Isurium Brigantum) In Roman Britain And The Wider Roman Empire.
