Yn 2022-23, wedi i’r gofyniad cyfreithiol i wisgo gorchudd wyneb mewn siopau a busnesau ddod i ben, dechreuodd canolfan Tŷ Croeso agor eto yn rheolaidd. Erbyn diwedd y flwyddyn, roedd y gweithgareddau canlynol wedi digwydd • Cwrs blasu Cymraeg (Ebrill 2022) • Cwrs Mynediad 1 i ddechreuwyr pur yn wythnosol yn ystod tymhorau ysgol (10 person, dechrau Medi 2022) • Canolfan ar agor pob bore Mawrth a Sadwrn am sesiynau sgwrsio anffurfiol, o dan arweiniad gwirfoddolwyr • Grwp Cymraeg U3A yn cynnal sesiynau sgwrsio pob bore Mercher • Dau siaradwr gyda’r nos ar-lein • Cydweithio gyda’r Fenter Iaith i hybu gweithgareddau cymdeithasol lleol (e.e. teithiau cerdded) • Dathliad Dydd Gwyl Dewi yn denu dros 60 o bobl. Gwnaed gweinyddiaeth hanfodol i gynnal y Ganolfan Gymraeg yn ystod y cyfnod clo (trethiant lleol, yswiriant atebolrwydd cyhoeddus, cynnal a chadw arferol a gwiriadau iechyd a diogelwch ac ati). In 2022-23, after the legal requirement to wear a face covering in shops and businesses ended, the Tŷ Croeso centre began to open again regularly. Some of the activities continued online (mainly speakers) and details of each event can be found here: https://cymgymcasgwent.weebly.com/rhaglen--events.html and on the calendar (https://cymgymcasgwent. weebly.com/). By the end of the year, the following activities had taken place • Welsh taster course (April 2022) • Welsh Entry Course for absolute beginners weekly during school terms (10 people, beginning September 2022) • Centre open every Tuesday and Saturday morning for informal chat sessions, led by volunteers • Welsh group U3A holding chat sessions every Wednesday morning • Two evening speakers online • Collaborate with the Menter Iaith to promote local social activities (e.g. walking tours) • David's Day celebration attracting over 60 people. Essential administration was carried out to maintain the Welsh Language Center during the lockdown period (local taxation, public liability insurance, normal maintenance and health and safety checks etc.). |

Defnyddiwyd incwm grant o Lywodraeth Cymru (ymgais 2020-21) i sicrhau bod modd talu costau’r Ganolfan, gan fod incwm o Goleg Gwent wedi darfod (symudwyd eu dosbarthiadau ar-lein) ond bu’r dosbarth Mynediad gyda thiwtoriaid gwirfoddol rhent o’r U3A a chyfraniadau boreau coffi yn fodd da o gynhyrchu incwm pellach. Daeth incwm hefyd o £260 o’r Dathliad Gwyl Dewi. • 2022-23 FY: surplus of £19,238. The Welsh Government building income (2020-21) enabled the charity to maintain the Centre, as income from Coleg Gwent’s rent had stopped (due to classes moving online). The shortfall is now being made up with volunteer-led in person classes, rent from the U3A Welsh group, and coffee mornings. An income of £260 was also made from the St David’s Day event. |

Yn y flwyddyn ariannol hon, gostyngodd incwm rhent of Cymraeg i Oedolion Gwent i £ 0 oherwydd parhaodd dosbarthiadau ar lein ar ôl pandemig Cofid-19. Derbyniwyd grant busnes oddi trwy Cyngor Sir Fynwy yn 2020-21 i helpu gyda treuliau.
In this financial year, rental income from Cymraeg i Oedolion Gwent was £0 as classed continued online after the Covid-19 pandemic. A business recovery grant via Monmouthshire County Council was obtained to assist in covering costs.

Mae yswiriant yn parhau i gael ei drefnu trwy Aston Lark Brokers. Y darparwr cyfredol yw Allianz. Roedd codiad o dros £200 o gymharu a’r flwyddyn cynt.Mae cyfleusterau cyffredinol, ac eithrio'r Dreth Gyngor, yn cael eu talu trwy ddebyd uniongyrchol.
Mae bancwyr yr elusen yn parhau i fod yn Barclays gyda’r llofnodwyr yn dri o’r ymddiriedolwyr, sef Andrea Webber, Lynne Feakes a Naomi Price. Mae angen awdurdod unrhyw ddau o'r tri llofnodwr ar gyfer pob taliad. Am wariant dros £100 (ac eithrio gwariant yn gysylltiedig a chynnal a chadw, cyfleusterau neu trethi lleol) rhaid cael cytundeb y mwyafrif o’r ymddiriedolwyr.
Insurance continues to be arranged through Aston Lark Brokers. Current provider is Allianz. There was an increase of over £200 compared to the previous year. General utilities are, with the exception of Council Tax, are paid by direct debit.
The charity’s bankers continue to be Barclays with the signatories being three of the trustees, namely, Andrea Webber, Lynne Feakes and Naomi Price. All payments require authorisation by any two of the three signatories. Expenditure over £100 (other than that associated with essential maintenance, utilities or local taxes) must be approved by a majority of the trustees.
