Agorwyd y ganolfan ar foreau Sadwrn pan oedd yn bosib yn sgil asesiadau risg Covid. • Gwnaed gweinyddiaeth hanfodol i gynnal y Ganolfan Gymraeg yn ystod y cyfnod clo (trethiant lleol, yswiriant atebolrwydd cyhoeddus, cynnal a chadw arferol a gwiriadau iechyd a diogelwch ac ati). Ymgeisiodd yr ymddiriedolwyr yn llwyddiannus am grant o Lywodraeth Cymru, i sicrhau bod modd talu costau’r Ganolfan, gan fod incwm o Goleg Gwent wedi darfod (symudwyd dosbarthiadau ar-lein) ac incwm o weithgareddau / gwerthu hefyd wedi darfod. Roedd y grant yn hanfodol o ystyried y posibilrwydd na fyddai modd cael incwm rhent/arall yn 2021-22 chwaith. Cadwyd cyswllt a Choleg Gwent a’r Fenter Iaith yn ystod y cyfnod clo. • In 2020-21, Tŷ Croeso centre was closed due to Covid-19. As many activities as possible were moved online (speakers, social events) and the online offer increased significantly. The programme of evening Welsh language events and informal chat sessions is summarised at https://cymgymcasgwent.weebly.com/rhaglen-- events.html and on the calendar at https://cymgymcasgwent.weebly.com/ and benefitted Welsh learners, speakers and locals interested in Welsh culture and language. The trustees applied successfully for a Welsh government grant of £10,000 administer by MCC for business premises in the county to cover loss of income related to Covid-19. The centre opened when possible to visitors wishing to practice their Welsh language skills, following Covid protocols in force at the time. • Essential administration was carried out to maintain the centre during lockdown (local taxation, public liability insurance, routine maintenance and health & safety checks etc). The Trustees obtained a Welsh government grant to ensure that costs associated with maintenance could be met, given that rental income from Coleg Gwent ceased (as classes moved online) and events/sales income also largely ceased. The grant was essential given that it became evident that income from rents/other would not be possible in 2021- 22 either. Dialogue was maintained with Coleg Gwent and Menter Iaith during lockdowns. |

Yn y flwyddyn ariannol hon, gostyngodd incwm rhent of Cymraeg i Oedolion Gwent i £ 0 oherwydd symudwyd dosbarthiadau tymor diwethaf y flwyddyn academaidd 2019/2020 a dosbarthiadau’r flwyddyn academaidd 2020/21 ar lein yn sgil y pandemig Cofid-19. Derbyniwyd grant busnes oddi trwy Cyngor Sir Fynwy i helpu gyda treuliau.
Mae yswiriant yn parhau i gael ei drefnu trwy Aston Lark Brokers. Y darparwr cyfredol yw Allianz. Mae cyfleusterau cyffredinol, ac eithrio'r Dreth Gyngor, yn cael eu talu trwy ddebyd uniongyrchol.
In this financial year, rental income from Cymraeg i Oedolion Gwent was £0 as classes for the final term of the academic year Sep 2019 – Jun 2020 and the academic year Sep 2020 – Jun 2021 moved online due to the Covid-19 pandemic. A business recovery grant via Monmouthshire County Council was obtained to assist in covering costs.
Insurance continues to be arranged through Aston Lark Brokers. Current provider is Allianz. General utilities are, with the exception of Council Tax, are paid by direct debit.

Mae bancwyr yr elusen yn parhau i fod yn Barclays gyda’r llofnodwyr yn dri o’r ymddiriedolwyr, sef Andrea Webber, Lynne Feakes a Naomi Price. Mae angen awdurdod unrhyw ddau o'r tri llofnodwr ar gyfer pob taliad. Am wariant dros £100 (ac eithrio gwariant yn gysylltiedig a chynnal a chadw, cyfleusterau neu trethi lleol) rhaid cael cytundeb y mwyafrif o’r ymddiriedolwyr.
The charity’s bankers continue to be Barclays with the signatories being three of the trustees, namely, Andrea Webber, Lynne Feakes and Naomi Price. All payments require authorisation by any two of the three signatories. Expenditure over £100 (other than that associated with essential maintenance, utilities or local taxes) must be approved by a majority of the trustees.
