Throughout the year the Trustees have had regard to guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit. The Charity's donations have focused on supporting the general operations of work at Breathe Arts Health ResearGh CIC, to which end o grants were made during the year. £25,500 from unreslri¢ted funds and £16,794 from restricted funds to support the work of the Breathe Harmony NHS Choir. Section D Achievements and performance Support from the charity helped Breathe Arts Health Research develop deliv8r several of its key programmes, notably those targeted at people with hemiplegia or post natal depression. In addition, against a challenging NHS funding ba¢kground for staff wellbeing Breathe was able to sustain the Breathe Harmony NHS choir. Section E Financial review The charfty is run on an entirely voluntary basls and has no significant flxed costs or other ftnancial commltments. Historicallyi its biggest costs have related to two areas: (l) Supporting Its web site, notably for retainlng Its domain name, as well as occasional upgrade work. In the five financial years to 2025 Such spending has typically been ca. £300 per annum, rising to just over £l.000 in 2023 when the web site was refreshed. {2) In recent years the charity has had to pay upfront fundralslng fees, e.g. for Action Challenge, rdnging from ca. £550 in 2024 to ca. £250 in 2025. On this basls, the charity's financial commitments in any one year are unlikely to ex￿ed £2,000. Reflethng thls level of historic spending, and with the aim of malntaining some flnancial flexlbillty without tying up funds unnecessarilyi the Trustees have detennined that £5,000 would be an appropriate level of reserves. This figure is reviewed at least annually. Respective The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. responsibilities of The charity’s trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year trustees and examiner under section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 (the Charities Act) and that an independent examination is needed. It is my responsibility to:

• examine the accounts under section 145 of the Charities Act,

• to follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission (under section 145(5)(b) of the Charities Act, and

• to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.

• Basis of independent My examination was carried out in accordance with general Directions given examiner’s statement by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a ‘true and fair’ view and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.

Independent In connection with my examination, no material matters have come to my examiner's statement attention (other than that disclosed below *) which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
