Financial Review
The Charity Trustees have agreed a Reserves Policy that allows £12000 to be held in reserve. This decision was made to reflect the growing commitments of the charity to both staff and donkeys. The reserve of £12000 will support the charity for 6 months in the event of a major downturn in fundraising.
Looking forward
Through the support of the local community and hard work of staff and volunteers, Snowdonia Donkeys continues to grow and be a resource utilised by the local community and visitors from further afield.
Over the next year we hope to:
-
Expand our networks and contacts that will enable us to develop and deliver more donkey assisted interventions.
-
Secure continued funding to continue to develop our volunteer programme and resources.
-
Identify appropriate grant support the help us fund a space where we can work during wet weather.
-
Continue to develop our partnership with Bangor University to support active research in the work that we do.
-
Improve the facilities that we have for visitors and staff.
