| Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | As described in the summary of main activities, LAERA was essentially dormant throughout the year, with no activities having been planned for January to early March before the impact of Covid began to be felt. The Trustees discussed informally whether there was any point in attempting to continue with LAERA, as it has struggled to establish an active support base since inception as a registered charity in 2017. However, a sufficient proportion of trustees felt that the situation would improve once Covid19 was overcome, so it was agreed to continue as a dormant charity, with a view to restarting activity in 2021. |
