There is a previously approved and declared familial relationship between one trustee and the sole paid member of staff. However, there are procedural checks and approvals in place to ensure that there can be no conflict of interest. The organisation is in final stages of transferring its activities to a CIO in with the same name and objects (with Charity Number 1176227) and is awaiting transfer of the bank accounts for this to take place. Section C Ob"ectives and activities To advance the education and personal development of young members of the public at large in agriculture, rural life and affairs, international understanding, home crafts, the environment and related subjects. In the interests of the social welfare of such members, to provide and promote the provision of facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupations, being facilities, which will improve their spiritual and mental capacities, health and well-being, raise awareness, self-reliance and individual responsibility so that they may develop as individuals into full citizens. Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document To promote its activities through the mediums of English and welsh and to ensure those activities enhance the members, understanding and knowledge of Welsh rural life, welsh culture and the welsh language, alon with rovidin an understandin of other cultures. Trusteeg, in plannlng our activities for the year, kept in mlnd the Charity Commisslon'g guldance on public benefit at our trustee* meetings (executive commlttee). The main activities are as follows: 8 prograrri of events, competitiong and activities designed to improve knowledge, teamwork and community engagement. Several activities undertaken throughout the year to improve skills and education of members as well as provide entertainment and services to the general public. These include Stockjudging and Carcass Judging competitions providing members with the opportunity to advance their knowledge and skills; public speaking, intervlew, cookery and bricklaying competitions to build life skills. field day competitions that build on famiing skills as well as the sports and entertainment competrtion. Summary of the maln activities undertaken for the public benefit In relatlon to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit) Members were also given the opportunity to participate in the Wales YFC and NFYFC travel programmes which resulted in some members travelling overseas and within the UK.
