Section D Achievements and performance
Summary of the main The main achievement in the year 2022/23 was the achievements of the charity re-establishment of the Festival after cancelation in during the year 2020, very limited activity in 2021 and a small loss making festival in 2022. In order to re-establish the Festival the Trustees decided to accept a small projected operating loss in organising the festival. However, the outcome was a small profit due to increased sponsorship, which will return the reserves to pre-pandemic levels and support an expanded festival in 2024.
