charity’s work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a

Para 1.20 This year has seen a return to normal activity following
the Covid pandemic..
Fundraising opportunities have been minimal with a lack
of volunteers prepared to support. Our only stalls was at
the Dragon Boat racing where we raised £170.42, at a
fitness fair where we raised £106 and a Dog Show where
we raised £30.
We have continued to see a number of donations made
as a result of people receiving our heart pillows.
600 Heart Pillows and 350 Drain bags have been
delivered to the hospital and these continue to be well
received, with many notes of thanks being sent to us.
We have received a number of private donations from a
range of members of the public and were the recipient of

funds raised by a local fitness group, which we in turn, referred one of our ladies to and a local art show. . We have seen a steady flow of new members joining us this year with one joining us with the support of her social prescriber. The members have benefitted from a pair of free season tickets to York City FC this season to treat themselves and their family and friends. All but 2 of the home matches were attended by 12 different members.
