Activities
ICOMOS-UK is concerned with furthering the conservation, protection, rehabilitation and enhancement of monuments, groups of buildings and sites, at the national and the international level. We play a leading role in implementing the World Heritage Convention within the UK and in promoting exemplar custodianship of World Heritage sites.
Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:to Advance For The Public Benefit The Protection, Conservation, Presentation And Enhancement Of Monuments, Groups Of Buildings And Landscapes Of Historical Or Public Interest, Through Fostering National And International Cooperation, Promoting Good Practice And Harnessing Skills And Technical Capabilities.
